Padma Shri awards 2023 were won by 4 persons in the field of Agriculture. Upreti won for his concept of organic farming, Nekram Shrama won for reservation of indigenous seeds, Patayat Sahu for growing the medicinal forest and Cheruvayal Ramam for his indigenous rice seed conservation.
